Wildlife Park Eichert
The wildlife park Eichert is situated in the middle of the forest and the charming scenery of Castle Hill. The municipal park with its generous, over 30 hectare large and alpine appearing enclosures invites visitors to encounter nature and relax there. Visitors can choose among a small or large circular path to watch fallow, red and sika deer, ibexes wild boars and moufflons. You can admire the cohabitation of ducks, geese, fowls and pheasants in the newly built biotope. Information boards offer interesting facts about ecology in general, the forest ecosystem and wildlife. There is also a big forest playground with barbecue facilities in the direction of the open-air theatre Naturtheater. It is only allowed to feed the animals with special animal feed available at vending machines (One serving for 0,10 €).
Go stalking through the mixed forest, which has a lot to explore at every season. Watch the strident family life of wild boars, the climbing skills of chamoises and ibexes or the jealous wake of majestic stags over their herds.
